Brigitte Mitchell (Dancer, Company member since 2008) has been dancing for as long as she can remember. Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, her training includes Northwest Florida Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet. Brigitte has worked with Brooklyn-based choreographer Wanda Gala and was a member of Silent Fire Productions. Brigitte was a part of the 2009 Bessie Schönberg Choreographers’ Residency at the Yard on Martha’s Vineyard, dancing in new works by Elizabeth Keen and Rachael Lincoln. A once professional model as well as a dancer, Brigitte was featured in the Sept 2002 issue of Seventeen magazine and the Nov 2002 Issue of German Vogue. She is so happy to have found her SYREN family.
