Jean-René Homehr (Dancer, Company member since 2009) was born in France where he began his dance training. Before coming to New York to study at the Martha Graham School, he attended the two year program of the Rudra Béjart’s School in Lausanne (Switzerland). Through that program he performed in works by Maurice Béjart in Europe and Japan. Since September 2007, he has been enrolled with a full scholarship at the Martha Graham School and is a member of GRAHAM II. He graduated from the Professional Training Program and the Teaching Training Program in June 2009, and in August 2009 he became a member of SYREN.
