Sonja Dale (Dancer, Company member since 2010) was raised in Berkeley, California, where she began her training with Sally Streets at Berkeley Ballet Theater. She attended The Boston Conservatory and UCLA, and completed her BA in theater from UCLA in 2008. Sonja began her dance career in California, where she had the opportunity to dance with Lula Washington Dance Theater in Los Angeles, and FACT/SF, The Mark Foehringer Dance Project, Janice Garrett and Charles Moulten, and ODC/Dance in San Francisco. She has been living in New York since 2009, and is currently teaching yoga at Yoga to the People, dancing in projects with KDNY Dance, and beginning her second season with SYREN.
