Chanelle Lagacé was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. As a BFA student at SUNY Purchase she performed in Paul Taylor's Cloven Kingdom, Mark Morris's Gloria and Bill T. Jones's D Man in the Waters. She has had the pleasure of originating new works with The Limon Company's Jonathan Riedel, Hubbard Street's Lauri Stallings and Julian Barnett Project's very own Julian Barnett. She teaches at Erie Dance Conservatory and is an Amy Marshall Dance Company apprentice.
