Dancer, Company member since 2021

Roxanne Potes is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She began her journey as a dancer at her neighborhood school, Diva Dance Studio, in which she trained in a variety of styles. She went on to become an alumni of the Professional Performing Arts High School, as a major in dance, and The Ailey School's Junior Division Program, both in which she furthered her training in Ballet, Modern, West African, and Jazz. In 2021, Roxanne graduated from Fordham University with a B.F.A. in Dance, through their partnership with The Ailey School, and a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies. In addition, she has attended summer programs with Peridance Capezio Center's Blueprint and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Throughout her journey, Roxanne has had the opportunity to perform works by Alvin Ailey, Mathew Rushing, Earl Mosley, Adrienne Hurd, Bradley Shelver, Guillermo Asca, and Yoshito Sakuraba. This is Roxanne's third season with SYREN.
